Harmons Cooking Class Giveaway!

Last week I was completely spoiled by being invited to a Chef's Table Cooking Class at the Harmon's at Station Park, in Farmington.

It was AMAZING! The theme of the class was International Seafood.

On the menu was: Grilled Cuban Lobster Salad with Mojo Vinaigrette, Shrimp Pasta alla Checca, Wahoo (Ono) Fish with Wasabi Potato Pancakes and Spicy Jicama Slaw, Meyer Lemon and Fresh Raspberry Cake.

Chef Bob Bryant is so knowledgeable and fun to be around. He encourages people to comment and ask questions. While cooking he talks you through everything that he is doing - explaining the hows and whys of each ingredient & step. He even provides attendees with a recipe book from the class. I spoke with him a bit after the class was over and he said that there are a lot of people attending his classes to learn to cook for themselves at home in efforts to save money! The food we ate was so good that I would much rather make that at home, than waste money at a restaurant any day!

Along with this class there was a wine paring. Sheral Schove was there to teach us about the wines that went with each course of the meal. She expertly served wine to those that wanted it. I personally don't drink wine, but I left feeling a educated a bit on the subject. It was very interesting.

There were 9 people in the class and we all chatted a got along great. The classes would make a fun Girl's Night Out or Date Night. My date of choice, my husband, was not able to attend so I brought my mom, it was fun!

Here is where you go to see the calendar of all of the classes they offer. The one I went to was a demonstration. They have Hands-on, Kids Classes, and Wine Classes too.

I am so excited that I get to lucky readers of Utah Shopping Secrets a great prize!

The 1st prize will be a pair of tickets to a cooking class of their choice at the Station Park Harmon's! This is up to a $130 value!
